Here in our space, untamed, we thrive.

Nanga Bush Camp offers a return to nature with simplicity at its heart. The timber structures are tucked in and around the forest, and built from it. You blend in, feel at one, part of the whole.

We provide a wide range of accommodation with the flexibility to cater for group sizes between 10 and 300. All your necessary facilities are provided – and none of the bells and whistles. We’re here to simplify your experience so you can get as close to nature as you want. Expect the basics with an uninterrupted view.

Bunkhouses

Nanga is known for the unique design of its three large bunkhouses, Woodshed, Timbarra and Currawong. They are all built from local timber using Jarrah poles, so the buildings blend perfectly into the forest.

The bunkhouses are spread out across the large property, ensuring privacy for every group that visits. A short walk from each bunkhouse will provide access to the other buildings, the river and numerous activities.

Each of our three bunkhouses is self-contained with sleeping facilities for up to 100 people, large kitchens, cool rooms, catering facilities, dining area, indoor activity area and bathrooms. Bring the fun inside with table tennis, volleyball, basketball and DVD facilities.

Be as lively or quiet as you wish. It’s your chance to make your time here your own.

Cottages

We have cute and cosy cottages that can sleep from 9 to 38. All can be booked individually or in combination. Imagine the fun you and your friends can have in the stripped-back world of Nanga and the stories you’ll revisit.

Nanga Bush Camp offers a range of cosy cottages for smaller groups, accommodating from 10 to 30 people. Bring your family and come together in the heart of a forest, or invite your best mates to enjoy a weekend away from the distractions of the city. Then enjoy the warm, relaxing embrace of a timber cottage in the evenings.

As you sit around the fire, feel the comfort of being with people you love. Share stories and laughter, then bet on who will be the first in the group to bring out the guitar. When music is over, listen to the crackling of the flames and wonder what adventures tomorrow will bring.

Cottages may be booked individually or in combination. The cottages are all nestled in the forest close to the Murray River and are built of Jarrah.

All cottages have tile fires and outside fire pits (in winter season only). There is a communal BBQ area nearby.
