Find space to explore.

You won’t find much here.

It’ll come to you instead. Here, in this place free from busy or bustling, there’s space to roam, wander, explore, and remember. Under native canopies and barefoot by babbling brooks, precious moments emerge as you reconnect with nature.

Perhaps you remember Nanga Bush Camp from a family holiday captured on film camera or a school trip long past. You wouldn’t be the only one, we’ve been here for over 40 years. Quietly watching over games of hide-and-seek, with the sun disappearing through a barcode of thick and thin trees.

Calming, reflective, and just an hour-and-a half-drive from Perth. Come free yourself in the simplicity of Nanga Bush Camp.

What we’re built on.

BE AT ONE with nature, with yourself. Accept.

LIFE IS A FORCE if we stop and listen we can sense the power of nature. Be awed.

NOTHING MORE THAN OUR FOOTPRINTS: be sustainable, leave nothing more than your footprints. Care.

THE WISDOM WITHIN: engage with each other in nature to discover the knowledge within. Commune.

ALWAYS WAS, AWLAYS WILL BE. We are grateful to be guests on the land of the Wilman people of the Noongar nation. Respect.

OUR OFFERING

You’ll find Nanga Bush Camp just outside of the town of Dwellingup, an easy hour-and-a-half drive south-east of Perth. For almost four decades, we’ve been an iconic destination for school camps, families, and friends looking for a peaceful spot to connect with nature. Kangaroos join you for breakfast; kookaburras share in the joke.

Luxury at Nanga is a hot shower after an evening swim, a perfectly toasted marshmellow, or claiming the top bunk. Our place is humble, homey and true to itself. There’s not much that gets between nature and you – except maybe a flyscreen in summer.

We rest on the banks of the beautiful Murray River, tucked away in a maze of mighty old-growth, Blackbutt and Redgum trees. With 80 acres of wonderfully wild, uncleared forest to play in, each day brings a new space to explore.

It has a range of facilities and accommodation options that appeal to schools, weddings, families, and young adults. Our camp suits people looking for a getaway, adventure camp experience, wedding venue, schools, events or team retreat.
