BUNKHOUSE

101 humans can call this home.

Built in 1979 from too many Jarrah poles to count, it’s hard to know where the woodshed ends and the forest begins. The two-storey, homey bunkhouse is ideal for school groups, events or teams.

Rooms divided by patterned curtains open to a main hall and surrounding balcony. Stage a re-enactment of Romeo and Juliet where every seat is the best in the house, or create a dance spectacular on the tiled, open floor space.

Me-time isn’t far away, either. Peaceful trails wind the woods or take a short walk down to the Murray River. There’s plenty of room for winding down with yoga and meditation, too.

Invent and adapt your individual activities to make the space your own.
