Exploring the world to build strong foundations.

There’s nowhere quite like Nanga, though it’s not unusual to think you’ve been here before.

We’ve been welcoming schools for nearly 40 years, so there’s every chance the camp stirs forgotten memories of whispering to friends in bunk beds or bike riding the forest trails. So strong is attraction that three generations of students have come here, drawn back by its magical appeal.

Experience… the hooting of an owl calling for friends, the dew-spangled leaves of a grass tree at dawn, and the bounding leaps of a grey kangaroo and the echo of its joey.

At Nanga, nothing comes between nature and you. You experience the wonder of the forest, the thrill of the river, the excitement of adventure games. You share moments of intensity, stillness and camaraderie – and reflect over it all at the evening campfire

A space
to be challenged,
to get dirty, sweaty, tired,
to reach new heights,
to find your comfort zone and step outside it,
to band together,
to thrive.

A space to explore.

Everything you need.

The camp has everything you need to host a school camp that will be remembered long past childhood. It has classic bunk-style accommodation options and room for indoor activities, as well as pristine jarrah forest, diverse outdoor activity options and more than a kilometre of river frontage, perfect for summer water sports (or winter dares).

We’ve learned that schools prefer to organise their own activities and so we do not offer set camp packages. The camp suits Year 5 to Year 12 student groups best.
