ACTIVITY

Set up on the deck of their own accommodation, participants are given paints, brushes and a blank canvas, then are guided to create at their own pace. Surrounded by jarrah forest, it's a quiet, creative counterpoint to the rest of camp, part painting session, part moment to just notice where they are. Each finished piece is completely and travels home with them as a lasting reminder of their time at Nanga.

Duration: Allow 1.5 to 2 hours

There's no rush here, just brushes, colour and the forest doing most of the talking.
- Set up right on the deck of their accommodation, surrounded by the jarrah trees they've been sleeping among.
- All paints, brushes and equipment provided, nothing to bring but their imagination.
- A guided, gentle pace, part painting lesson, part quiet moment away from the noise.
A little canvas comes home with them, and so does the memory of where they painted it.
Some activities test the body. This one settles it.
- Low energy and screen-free, a calm counterbalance to the busier parts of camp.
- Instructor guidance throughout, helping with technique without taking over the creativity.
Confidence looks different here, it's quieter, but it lingers just as long.

- Suitable for all skill levels, no painting experience needed.
- Instructors are supervising at all times as well as providing inspiration and encouragement for anyone that is having a creative block.
